The **Cold Steel Special Forces 92SFSX shovel** is very versatile and perfect for bushcraft purposes. The Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel 92SFX is made for very hard soil. With this shovel you can dig a hole at one moment and the next you can use it to split a piece of wood. The sides of the shovel are sharp. You can also sharpen them, to make them even sharper. The shovel does not include a sheath.

## Cold Steel 92SFX and 92SF, what is the difference?

The Cold Steel Special Forces 92SF and 92SFX look alike. The 92SFX, however, is enhanced with a larger blade, and it is a lot longer than the 92SF. As such it is a little less easy to take with you, but the advantage is that it is faster and easier in use.

De kortere variant had ik al, maar deze is nog beter. Als het om de kleine veld- en klapschepjes gaat, heb ik er al meerdere geprobeerd. De versie van Cold Steel is daarbij een favoriet. Vooral wanneer de lak van de greep is gesleten. Nieuw is erg glad. De kortere variant is handig mee te nemen en te gebruiken in krappe ruimtes, maar deze met langere steel is een stuk comfortabeler. De schep zelf is een slag groter dan het kleintje, de stelen lijken uitwisselbaar.

Aandachtspunten: coating slijt, komt los en roestvorming hoort erbij.
