The **ESEE Imlay Orange** is a special version of the famous ESEE Izula. This is a rescue knife with a bright orange sheath. The blunt tip ensures that you don't hurt the victim or damage a dinghy or lifebuoy. You can also use the blunt tip as a 'pry bar'. Incredibly practical! A normal knife tip will break but this imlay can easily handle it.

## ESEE Imlay handle and blade

To prevent rust during canoe trips or other wet circumstance the Imlay is made from stainless 440C-steel. This steel can still rust if put aside when wet, but it is not as rust-sensitive as the carbon steel often used by ESEE. Fun fact: the name Imlay comes from a part of a canyon in Zion National park. The serrations on the blade ensure that you can easily cut through high-fibre materials such as rope. The handle has been enhanced with a key for oxygen tanks.

## ESEE Imlay sheath

ESEE wouldn't be ESEE if they only thought of the knife during development. That is why the sheath was also looked at. It is enhanced with a large round hole to make sure you can hang the imlay from a carabiner or climbing rope. To make sure the knife doesn't fall from the sheath it comes with a so-called 'retention strap'. With it you can secure the knife in the sheath. You could, of course, also remove it if you like. 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the ESEE Imlay goes to RAT-SAR. A volunteer organization that carries out search and rescue missions.
