## Gerber Convoy blade

The blade is made from stainless 440A steel. This isn't the hardest type of steel, but it's very corrosion resistant and it's also easy to sharpen. The stonewashed finish gives the knife a tough look, it also makes you less likely to see traces of use. The droppoint blade shape makes for a pocket knife that is easy to use and can handle almost any cutting job. 

## Gerber Convoy handle

The handle is made from micarta. Micarta is a composite material of linen and synthetic resin. It looks amazing and offers enough grip, even when your hands are wet.
