The **Helle Futura 200155 hunting knife** is a true classic that has returned to Helle's range! Originally launched in 2002, the Futura quickly became popular for its beautiful shapes and functional drop-point blade. The knife was designed by German Helle fan Herman Wolf, who envisioned it as a modern Scandinavian universal knife that would perform well both as a camping knife and a hunting knife.



The blade of the Helle Futura 200155, H3LS, Curly Birch, hunting knife measures 10,5 cm in length and 2,5 mm in thickness. The total length is 22 cm.



## About H3LS steel
H3LS is a stainless steel used exclusively by Helle. It consists of 3 layers: the outer layers are made of relatively simple but tough and corrosion-resistant 304 steel. The core is made of Helle's own secret stainless core steel, which is also corrosion-resistant but it can be sharpened to a razor-sharp edge. The laminated construction makes the blade very strong.



This knife has a scandi grind. As the name somewhat suggests, this method of sharpening originated in Scandinavia. A scandi edge excels at wood carving, which is why it is a popular choice for bushcraft knives. Sharpening a scandi edge is very easy, because the wide blade automatically guides you over the sharpening stone. The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Birch-wood handle
The handle is made of birch wood, a golden-brown type of wood with wavy markings. As a result, no two handles are the same. The knife you receive at home may differ from the one shown in the product photos. Every knife is unique!
