The Il Cucinino cutting boards are popular amongst amateur and professional chefs. The beech wood ensures that you can safely use the board for a very long time. The wood is soft enough to not affect the sharpness of the knife, but hard enough to prevent deep scratches.

## Cleaning the cutting board
To make sure your board stays in great shape maintenance is key! Fortunately, this isn’t as time consuming as you might think. Clean the board after use by rinsing it off under the tap. Afterwards dry it properly. Never put the board in the dishwasher! Place it upright (or hang it) to make sure it dries properly.

## Adding oil to your board
A wooden cutting board needs to be maintained. To make sure it stays in great shape, we recommend adding oil to both sides of the board.
