As the water comes to a boil the whistle will blow. Suited for the Base Camp and Scout models

The **Kelly Kettle whistle** starts to blow when the water in the Base Camp or Scout has come to a boil. It is a metal whistle inserted into soft, green rubber that also fits on the older models of the Base Camp and Scout. Kelly Kettle selected rubber because it will enable you to easily place and remove the whistle. In addition, a whistle completely made from metal can get stuck on the water outlet because of the expansion and contraction of the stainless steel due to heat.

 Please note: always place the whistle with the arrow pointing down. This ensures that the steam escapes downwards.

Ik heb de Kelly kettle al behoorlijk lang en zag dat er nu een fluitje voor was.
Eerst bestelde ik een te klein fluitje die totaal nutteloos was in mijn kettle, daarna heb ik een grotere besteld. 
Misschien dat er in de loop der tijd iets veranderd is aan de kettle (ik denk dat ik het formaat Scout heb), maar bij mij kan ik de dop met fluit net een paar millimeter in de opening drukken.
Hij fluit mooi, maar ik moet er wel bijblijven. Te lang wachten en de dop schiet er af en kokend water vliegt alle kanten op.
Als hij goed zou passen zou het perfect zijn 😀
