With the **Lansky D-Sharp Diamond Multi-Angle, knife sharpener, diamond** you get four sharpeners in one handy package. It's useful to have it on hand for knife repairs when you're out and about. The D-Sharp is suitable for almost all types of knife, from a plain-edge pocket knife to a serrated knife. It's like having a complete sharpening system right there in your pocket. The small, but comprehensive, knife sharpener for your knives comes with clear instructions.

This diamond sharpener is designed to restore the edge of a very dull knife. You can also use it to sharpen your blade in mere seconds. Generally, passing your knife through it three or four times will be sufficient. Please note: the diamond particles are quite harsh. If normal maintenance is enough for you, we recommend the ceramic knife sharpener. 

## Lansky D-Sharp: ceramic sharpening rod

Use the ceramic sharpening rod to polish the edge as a finishing touch. Make sure to use the sharpening rod after you've already used the diamond-coated sharpener. If the blade of your knife is still relatively sharp, you can use the sharpening rod to maintain this sharpness. Because the ceramic rods don't remove much material, you can regularly use this sharpener without having to worry about your knives.

This sharpening rod is designed for all knives with both fine and coarse serrations. When you have larger serrations make a ‘sweeping’ motion so that you reach the whole blade. Keep your knife at the right angle and always move the knife away from you to avoid accidents.
