The **Lansky Eraser Block** is intended for cleaning sharpening steels. The block feels relatively soft. Comparable to an eraser. 

The ceramic material of these steels is by use contaminated with metal particles. You can remove these particles with this practical block, after which the steels will be as new again. After erasing, eraser residue may be left behind on the steels. We recommend wiping these away before you use the steels again!

With this block you can also remove hard-to-remove stains from, for instance, metal and ceramics. It helps to make the block wet.

Bonne gomme à effacer les traces laissées sur les fusils en céramique, fait le travail.

Ik heb dit besteld met de bedoeling om mijn keramische slijpstaaf weer heIemaal proper te krijgen. Dat lukt echter niet echt beter dan met een schuursponsje en wat schuurcrème. 
Bovendien slijt de eraser zeer snel.

Als combideal gekocht samen met de Sharpmaker, maar omdat de slijpstaven ook met een schuursponsje gereinigd kunnen worden, vind ik het een nutteloze aankoop. Het verwijderen van de gumresten is bijna nog meer werk dan het verwijderen van de metaaldeeltjes. 

Guter Radierer, man bekommt sogar Kratzer von Edelstahl weg,
ist sein Geld wert !!!
