Lodge cleaning brush for cast iron pans. Cleans without damaging the pan

With the **Lodge cleaning brush** you can effortlessly clean cast iron pans without affecting the natural non-stick coating. The lacquered rubber wood handle is amazing to hold, and the stiff bristles of the brush properly clean your pan.


## Maintaining your lodge pan


 As the pan is produced it is treated with vegetable oil based on soya. As a result you end up with a natural non-stick coating. And each time you use a Lodge pan, this non-stick coating will only become better. Maintaining it, however, is very important. Clean the pan after use with water and a little bit of detergent. It is not dishwasher proof. If there is still some left-over food sticking to the pan, scrape it off with a [pan scraper.](kato://product/ LG-L-Scrcombo) Having trouble removing the left-over food? Simmer a little bit of water in the pan for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards you can easily scrape out any left-over residue. Properly dry the pan after cleaning it and add a small layer of [oil](kato://product/ LG-L-Aspray) to the pan. Always make sure you store the pan in a dry place. Otherwise it can start to rust!
