This **Opinel Intempora peeling knife no. 225 8 cm** is a kitchen knife that, because of the shape of the handle, might remind you of the famous Opinel pocket knives. It is a decent knife you can work efficiently with. The stylish plastic handle makes the knife look very elegant.

 ## Navy-blue POM handle

 The stylish handle is navy-coloured and made from polyoxymethylene or, in short, POM. This is a strong type of plastic that is enhanced with glass-fibres. This makes the knives shock and heat resistant.

 ## Solid Sandvik 12C27-steel

 After the succes of the Parallèle collection Opinel also used Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel for the Intempora collection. This steel, with a high carbon content, can be sharpened easily and won't rust. Swedish decency with French flexibility: an excellent combination!
