Full description

The Petromax lid lifter is a simple but practical tool. Safely lift the lid of your Dutch Oven without burning your hands. You can leave the glowing pieces of wood or coals on top of the lid and still check the contents. The handle has an optimal grip and minimal heat dissipation. The steel has been enhanced with a coating to prevent discolouration and rust. Enhanced with a practical eye to hang the hook from. The total length is 35 cm.

Essential piece of kit you have a Dutch oven. It holds the lid securely and it easy to store but it won’t fit inside the FT9. Maybe the pro version is better. I felt a little uneasy lifting a hot lid wearing crocs. The answer. Don’t lift a hot dutch oven wearing crocs!!! But it never slipped. Great kit from Petromax and Knives & Tools
