Robert Herder strop, cherry wood 013030002

With this Robert Herder stropping paddle you can hone your knives, or give them an even finer finish after sharpening. One side of this cherry-wood strop is enhanced with suede that is treated with 20 micron diamond powder. As such it is the 'coarse' side of the strop. 'Coarse' in between quotation marks because this specific strop already leaves you with finer results than a sharpening stone with grain size 5000. The fine side is made from leather. This side, with its 10 micron, is even finer than the other side. We advise you to carry out most stropping work on the coarse side and continue on the fine side without applying too much pressure, for the fine finish.
