This is the replacement blade for the **Silky Ibuki**. With a screwdriver you can easily remove the old blade from the handle to add a new one. 

The blade of this Silky saw is very thin and hard. As such it will be amazing to use, but it does require a little attention as you use it. This saw is a pull saw. This means that the blade cannot bend as you use it. Make sure that when moving it forward the blade is never forced. This could cause it to break. Always remove the weight to free the saw. As with any saw: let the saw do the work and don't force anything. This won't wear you out as much and will benefit the life of the saw. By holding the handle in many different parts you can control how much wood you remove. Holding it close to the blade means less pressure on the blade and little wood removal. As such you can work accurately. When you hold the handle further back the pressure will be bigger, enabling you to work faster, but less precise.

The Silky Ibuki has a slightly curved blade with progressive serrations. As soon as the saw is no longer sharp, you can easily replace the blade. If you maintain the saw well the teeth retain their sharpness longer. It is possible with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil and ensures that the saw stays sharp for a longer period of time. More aggressive products affect the rubber of the handle. 

Not using the Silky Ibuki? Dry it properly, place the saw in the holster and store it somewhere dry.
