This **Spyderco bread knife K01SBK** is characterized by its slim, serrated blade. Thanks to the shape and the length of the blade this knife can also easily be used as a pastry knife or even as a spatula.

 ## The handle is comprised of polypropylene

  - an extremely sustainable type of plastic - which is directly cast around the tang of the blade. Due to the lack of space between the handle material and the steel bacteria cannot settle in the knife. Incredibly hygienic.

 The main advantage of the handle, however, can be found in the ergonomics. The texture will give you the perfect grip. This, in combination with a pleasant thumb stud and rounded pommel (the end of the handle you put your linger finger against) will ensure that your hand won't slip.
