The **Spyderco Catcherman Salt Green LC200N C17PSGR Sprint Run** is a cool limited edition of the Spyderco Catcherman. Originally introduced in 1992, the Catcherman was one of the first foldable filleting knives. Specially designed for demanding fisher, the Catcherman soon grew to be a success. The Catcherman was one of the last Spyderco models with an integral moulded pocket clip, making it a cult classic among Spyderco collectors. This Sprint Run edition brings this unique design back to life.

## Spyderco Salt collection

The knives from the Spyderco Salt collection are the most stainless knives on the market. These knives are perfect when fishing, during a day at the beach or when enjoying a boat ride. Most of the knives from the Salt collection can be recognized by their bright yellow handle. This helps you find the knife, should you ever drop it in the water. Dropping the knife is not that likely, thankfully, as the handle is very grippy even in wet conditions.

## Blade made from LC200N steel

This version of the Spyderco Catcherman has a blade made from LC200N steel. This is a remarkable type of stainless steel. Incredibly practical if you often use the knife around water. LC200N-steel is also easy to sharpen. You open the knife with one hand, after which it is locked by a backlock.

## FRN handle

The Catcherman is very lightweight. It only weighs 78 grams! To make sure the weight is as low as can be Spyderco used FRN for the handle: fibre reinforced nylon. FRN is a fibreglass-reinforced plastic. It is made up of glass fibres that are drenched in polyester resin. This makes the material very strong, but also very light in weight. The result is also that you often don't need steel liners to construct the knife. FRN lasts a lifetime and excels regardless of the weather. In the winter FRN doesn't cool down, and in the summer it doesn't heat up. As such the knife will always feel great in hand. The scales have a light texture. This gives you enough grip over the handle. Even in the pouring rain.
