This **Wicked Edge granite base** was developed for the Wicked Edge Precision Sharpener. This tool does not include a base.

With its six kilos, the granite base offers a lot of stability. Very important, of course, for a precise job like sharpening your precious knives. That is why this base is worth every penny!

Lang overwogen en na lang aarzelen toch maar gedaan. Voorheen zat mijn W.E. op een houten plank en dat werkte ook best wel goed maar nu ik deze granieten voet heb merk ik toch wel het verschil. Door het gewicht blijft hij staan waar de houten plank wel eens begon te schuiven. Bijkomend voordeel is dat wanneer je met water werkt de voet beter is schoon te maken. Hij is wel kwetsbaarder dan een houten plank wanneer je hem zou laat vallen natuurlijk, niet doen dus! Wel zelf voor de schroeven zorgen (M5) deze zitten er niet bij.

Is hij zijn prijs waard? dat moet iedereen maar zelf uitmaken ik heb geen spijt van deze aanschaf.
Ook niet van de Wicked Edge trouwens.
