This **WMF Grand Gourmet honing steel** is the perfect tool for quickly sharpening your kitchen knives before use. Simply move your knife across the honing steel a few times before you start cutting. This will keep the blade nice and straight and prevents the knife from becoming blunt quickly. Please note: a honing steel doesn't sharpen your knife, as it doesn't remove any material. Honing steels are used for minor daily maintenance of your knives.
