Full description
The WOOX Rock 62 Walnut is a stylish and solid fixed knife designed in the United States and manufactured in Maniago, Italy. The modern design adds to the knife's distinctive look. And thanks to the slight curve and the practical finger groove in the handle, the knife also feels very comfortable in hand. You have plenty of grip and good control over the large blade.

Nice knife. I had looked at buying this many months ago, but in reality, I found the price way to high for what it is. The price that i eventually bought it for, seemed about the right level (about 40% off the listed price). Generally, the knife is of excellent quality, razor sharp out of the box (aren't they all?!), looks good and feels good in the hand. Parameters are all good for a bushcraft knife.... grind, blade length, height and thickness, etc. Weight is good and handle is a good size. The knife is good for most, if not all, camp duties. The spine is not the best but can scrape a ferro rod and bark off branches even with the coating. The jimping, i feel, is a bit on the aggressive side. The finger guard and pommel i love, here it goes more to the tactical side of things. The walnut scales are very nice, however feel like plastic....that said, they feel warm, are well machined and very smooth. Note to add, the steel is not flush on the handle, but is slightly rounded to reduce "hot spots"....nice touch. The only doubts i have is the heat treatment...62 HRC of Sleipner steel. I have yet to beat this blade to death but really, 62 HRC?! ...sounds like a bit "chippy" to me, let's see. Great for a hunting knife perhaps but i guess not so great for a bushcrafting knife (which i would use it for)...you be the judge. The supplied basic sheath is absolutely terrible and the "premium" aftermarket sheath is not much better. Here, I would suggest getting someone to make one for you. End of the day, is it worth it? Yes, it is, if the price is right.
