The **BeaverCraft Book Professional Spoon and Kuksa Carving Set** is a set of wood carving knives with each their own function. The C4 Whittling Knife is a large wood carving knife to remove a lot of material. The C3 Small Sloyd Knife is, because of its convex edge perfect for the fine finish on the inside of your creation. The SK2 spoon knife has a diameter of 30 mm and is suited for hollowing out wood for a kuksa, bowl or spoon. You use the gouge to hollow out long pieces of wood. When, for instance, creating an elongated bowl or wooden spoon. This set also contains a strop and stropping compound to make sure the knives stay razor-sharp. 

## BeaverCraft Book gift set

The entire set is stored in a wooden storage box/gift box shaped like a book. The book is 26 cm high, 20 cm wide and 6 cm thick. This original gift is something else than just a book!

## About the wood carving knives

The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.

## Beavercraft S43 handle

The handle (except from the BeaverCraft Whittling Sloyd Knife Oak C4) is made from ash wood. A strong type of wood that is also used for axe handles. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Erg blij met deze set, heel veelzijdig en geschikt voor allerlei projecten. 1 onderdeel is gebroken maar na een snelle en vriendelijke reactie van de klantenservice diezelfde week nog vervangen.

Scherpe en stevige messen. Een mooi starterspakket.

De messen zijn goed scherp en houden fijn vast. De doos vind ik ook erg fijn, het is makkelijk mee te nemen en staat ook nog eens leuk als je het neer zet of legt. 

Zeer scherp en goed hanteerbaar. Ben zelf een absolute beginner zonder enige ervaring. Het ligt goed in mijn hand en is fijn om mee te werken
