The **Buck Bantam BLW 285** is a cool EDC pocket knife that is characterized by an excellent price-quality ratio. You easily open the blade with the help of the thumb studs. A backlock ensures that the blade stays in place. As such you don't even have to worry about the knife closing during the more demanding cutting tasks. The blade is made from 420HC. A classic, stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. 

The handle is made from FRN. FRN is a rock-solid and lightweight material that provides you with a lot of grip. The handle is also enhanced with finger grooves, making it feel very solid hand. You can easily keep it close with the pocket clip. The Buck Bantam is produced in the United States. As such you get a lot of 'Buck' for your money.

I like the knife blades' quality and sharpness.
The opening mechanism needs some usage before, being perfect.
I don't like that the handle is plastic, but that's a personal preference, very sturdy, and overall very nice.

Voldoet aan mijn gestelde eisen...lekker licht, compact en wordt gebruikt voor allerlei karweitjes.

Le plus gros probleme du produit est son design, il est presque impossible de déployer la lame à une main à cause du mecanisme trop rigide et du frottement de la lame sur le manche. 
En plus de ça aucun soin n'a été apporté à l'affutage de la lame qui est vraiment asymétrique (produit apparement destiné à l'exportation) 

Ps: qualité du service du site irréprochable
