The **Buck Solo Toothpick 385** is a classic slipjoint for a great price. The Toothpick is Buck's interpretation of the classic *Texas Toothpick*. Simple design, simple materials, simple construction. The type of knife your grandfather used to carry with him.

 The Buck Toothpick has a handle made from laminated wood, flanked on both sides by nickel silver bolsters. The presentation side has been enhanced with a nice Buck logo that is placed in the wood. The blade is made 420J2 steel. A basic stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen.

 Considering the traditional character of the Buck Toothpick and the craftsmanship involved in the finishing process there could be differences in the finish, adjustment and material. This makes every Buck Solo unique.

Als liefhebber van toothpicks is dit een bekoorlijk hebbedingetje. Toegegeven niet het grootste mes, wat nog versterkt wordt door se fijne bouw, en mogelijk als je het bovenhaalt  kan je op enig lachen rekenen maar het is een meer dan degelijk EDC-mes. Het doet de naam Buck alle eer aan!

Ik kocht direct een tweede mesje, nadat mijn vrouw verliefd raakte op het eerste. Die was ik dus gelijk kwijt. Het is een klein en elegant mesje. De afwerking kan per exemplaar verschillen merkte ik.

Matige afwerking. Wat scherpe braampjes op de veren. Blade grind ongelijk. Had voor het geld meer verwacht. Verder ziet het er mooi uit met het hout aan de zijkant.

Een mooi gemaakt mesje met een slank en puntig lemmet .


Ik had hem iets groter verwacht hoewel het totaal plaatje prachtig is
