The **Civivi Altus C20076** is a compact pocket knife for daily use. The blade is 7.5 cm long. For many pocket knife enthusiasts this blade length is a sweet spot for an EDC knife. Large enough for most cutting tasks, like opening packages, and small enough for the more precise tasks. As such it is not surprising that many popular pocket knives, like the Civivi Elementum, have a comparable blade length.

The Altus is enhanced with a button lock. This means that the blade is locked by a solid button. You open it by pushing the lock and pulling the knife out. The lock will also block it when closed.

## G10 handle

The handle is made from G10. A strong and light-weight material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The handle feels great in hand and the texture provides you with enough grip.

## Nitro-V steel blade

The blade is made from Nitro-V steel. This is a type of steel that, in terms of performance, is similar to AEB-L and 14C28N steel. Great types of steel that retain their sharpness well!

where do i even start with this one, its a really well made and comfortable size pocket knife that both looks good and is really usefull, fits perfectly in ur pocket and is very nice in ur hand. at first i missed a flipper on the knife but after getting used to it (that dident take more then 2 days) the thumb stud is placed really well and allows really snappy and easy opening. ive baught over 20 knives just to see what id like to carry and this one will probably stay in my pocket ready for use for a long time!

Het is een compacte EDC en de bouw kwaliteit voelt degelijk aan, daarom is hij ook wat aan de zware kant. Ik had alleen een productie fout waar de button lock bleef hangen.

Door mijn ervaring met andere CIVIVI modellen ben ik een iets meer solide mes gewend. Elementum, Brazen, en Dogma. De button lock van de Altus is geweldig en het mes loopt soepel. Ik ervaar wel wat wiebeligheid in de lengte van het mes (open geklapt) de fidget factor is wel een dikke 10! Overall een prima mes, maar door alle meer dan positieve reviews op youtube en andere kanalen was mijn verwachting wellicht iets te gehypet. De Altus is toch een dikke 30% duurder dan bijvoorbeeld een Brazan of Elementum, als je dan niet perse een buttonlock prefereert dan zou mijn voorkeur gaan naar andere CIVIVI modellen.

Appassionato di coltelli da una vita,  ho sempre evitato di acquistare coltelli cinesi,  legato quasi sempre al made in Usa. 
Ad oggi la maggior parte dei brand americani ha prezzi alti, noto che di recente sono ancora saliti.  A questo punto ho deciso di andare oltre i miei preconcetti e dopo essermi bene documentato ho acquistato questo modello di Civivi. Mi ritengo soddisfatto,  il prodotto ha una buona fattura e un rapporto qualità prezzo che purtroppo non è più possibile avere con i brand più famosi.
