The **Civivi Sendy Green/Red G10** is a small EDC pocket knife that has your back. It's an incredibly versatile little knife. The handle even hides a toothpick and tweezers! Moreover, this pocket knife is 'fidget friendly' with its in-line flipper that makes the blade appear like it's magic.

## Civivi Sendy Nitro-V blade
The blade is made from Nitro-V steel. It's a special type of steel that is very corrosion resistant and still very hard. It's a tried-and-tested steel type with excellent sharpness retention. It's a great steel for a knife in this price range.

## Civivi Sendy G10 handle
The handle has G10 scales and steel liners. G10 is a strong and light-weight material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The coarse texture feels great in hand and offers you enough grip.

## Civivi Sendy: 'just gonna send iiiit'
There he was, a few weeks before the announcement of the Cedar knife. Ben Petersen received an email from Civivi. The name 'Cedar' was no longer available due to trademark reasons, so he needed to come up with a new name. 
The laser engraving of the blade would be in two days. Slightly frustrated with this problem, he thought it over. The whole story behind this knife was built on the name 'Cedar'. The texture of the G10 handles is based on 'cedar shakes'. A shake is a rustic-looking roof shingle. A kind of roof tile made of wood.	 These are split by hand, replicating the rough finish of an axe cut. He went to uni in Cedar City, and he loves to walk through the canyons of Cedar Mesa. Everything was about Cedar!

But, sometimes projects you work on for over two years don't go the way you planned. Sometimes, life throws you a curveball. The only thing you can do is just go for it. Inspired by internet sensation Larry Enticer, Petersen chose the name 'Sendy'. Sendy is a term from the ski, snowboard, skate and extreme sports world. super leuk mesje met een zacht uiterlijk. Niemand gaat hiervan schrikken als je het tijdens een wandeling bovenhaalt om je appeltje te schillen of om je saucisse te snijden. Het erg dunne blad is prima geschikt om je Franse kaas op je stuk stokbrood te smeren op het strand. Gebruik hem echter niet om een oestertje open te peuteren, daar is het wat te fijn voor. Deze gaat mee op elk familie uitstapje of wandelweekend door zijn zacht gezicht. 

Ein sehr cooles Alltagsmesser. Die Verarbeitung ist top und der Öffnungsmechanismus ist wunderbar. Klingenlage im geschlossenen Zustand absolut mittig. Die 2-farbige Ausführung gefällt besonders. Vielleicht wird das nächste Civivi ein Elementum …

Dieses Messer erfüllt alle meine Erwartungen. Schön zentrierte Klinge, der Griff fühlt sich gut an. Der Frontflipper funktioniert einwandfrei und klappt blitzartig auf. Die Verarbeitung ist makellos und die Klingenform ansprechend. Ein perfektes EDC, das auch noch Pinzette und Zahnstocher im Gepäck hat.
