The **Condor Ötzi Knife 3922-2.2HC** is a remarkable knife. This knife is based on a knife made from fire stone that was found next to the ice mummy called Ötzi. Designer Joe Flowers used that knife and turned it into a contemporary version.

 The Condor Ötzi Knife is enhanced with a remarkable edge: it has a primary scandi grind, but with a convex finish. This is also called a 'scandivex'. As such you can benefit from the advantages of a scandi and convex grind at the same time. Great for wood work.

 The blade of the Condor Ötzi is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The handle is made from American hickory wood. This type of wood is known for its strength. It is for a reason that this type of wood has been used for axes and hammer handles for years. The handle is wound with bronze wire. This will discolour in time and form a patina which will make each knife unique.

 The Condor Ötzi comes with a leather sheath. It is enhanced with a leather strap you can use to hang it around your neck or shoulder.

Leuk voor verzamelaars, ouwe hippies en Catweazle fans. Decoratief ja. Functioneel nee. Daar zijn er andere voor verkrijgbaar bij KAT.

Les finitions du couteau sont vraiment a chier, on voit encore la colle
