The **Eden HD 8x42** is a pair of roof prism binoculars with a clear and bright image, a high edge sharpness because of top-quality optics, 8x magnification, broad field of view, quick focus and are nitrogen-filled. These binoculars have top-quality optical elements you often only find in much more expensive binoculars, that is the Eden price advantage!


The top-quality optics take care of an incredibly clear and bright image with a good edge sharpness (=sharpness up to the edge of the image). In addition, the lenses and prisms are carefully aligned. You notice this because you can easily see through the pair.


Remarkable about these bins is the width of the field of view. This is at least 129 meters at 1000 meters of distance which is great for 8x42 binoculars! Combined with the quick focus this ensures that you will quickly and easily find your target. The pair can be focused on objects closeby, up to approximately 1.2 meters! This is great if you want to study insects, for instance.

## Roof prism binoculars: compact and gastight


The binoculars are so-called roof prism binoculars. A construction where the lenses are in line with each other. This makes the pair narrower and ensures that the pair is airtight. This is because there are no changes of volume when focusing. This in comparison to the so-called porro prism binoculars where, while focusing, the outer dimensions of the pair change and the user might be inclined to suck in and blow out air. 


## Nitrogen-filled: no condensation


During the manufacturing process the pair was filled with nitrogen. As a result the bins can be used up to approximately -5, -10 ° C without being bothered by condensation.

Was a perfect purchase for a new bird watcher. Glad I didn't go with the higher magnification for a first set. Great quality, in my limited knowledge. Overall very happy.

De EDEN-verrekijker heb ik nu sinds 2017 in gebruik en bied bijzonder veel waar voor zijn geld.
Enigste nadeel wat ik ondervind na al die jaren is het verstellen van de oogkappen deze draaien erg zwaar, bijgeleverde tas kan van betere kwaliteit deze is niet voorzien van riem wat erg onhandig. 
Losse tas is verkrijgbaar maar het was beter geweest om deze er direct bij te leveren voor een goede bescherming in het veld.
Het zal niet gemakkelijk zijn dergelijke kijker voor deze relatief lage prijs te vinden.
De mechanische en optische kwaliteit zijn heel goed en vergelijkbaar met de subtop kijkers van de grote merken. 
Een garantietermijn van 25 jaar geeft echter toch wel veel vertrouwen.
De HD-kijkers zijn zeer geschikt voor het waarnemen van vogels en wild, insecten.
De ED 8x42 is speciaal geschikt voor vogelaars en wildspotter wie een hoge kwaliteit voor een zo laag mogelijke prijs zoekt. 

Goede verrekijker voor vogels spotten en tijdens wandelen. Scherp, handzaam en redelijk licht gewicht. 

Negen jaar geleden heb ik bij Knivesandtools een verrekijker gekocht.
Laatst merkte ik dat de verrekijker scheel keek.
Ik heb contact opgenomen met hen en ik kreeg heel snel de reactie dat ik hem naar hen op mocht sturen, zodat zij het konden bekijken.
Ik werd goed op de hoogte gebracht van het proces en binnen de kortste keren kreeg ik te horen dat ik gratis een nieuwe toegestuurd kreeg. En dat voor een verrekijker van negen jaar oud. Wat een geweldige service! Topbedrijf!
Ook over de verrekijker ben ik erg te spreken. Goed helder beeld en geen geld voor deze kwaliteit.

Ein sehr gutes Fernglas mit toller optischer Leistung. Hatte vergleichbare Ferngläser von Nikon und Steiner im Test. Sie waren teurer und schlechter. Mit Eden macht man nix falsch. Anschaffung lohnt sich!!!
