The **Fenix E18R V2.0** is a really impressive flashlight. Ultra compact, yet powerful. Its predecessor already had an output of 750 lumens, but this V2.0 has an impressive output of 1300 lumens! And all of from a flashlight small enough to carry in your pocket or on your key-chain.
In addition, the E18R V2.0 is waterproof and dustproof according to the IP-68 norm. It is also shock-resistant up until 1.5 meters. Thanks to the magnetic bottom, you can easily attach the light to metal surfaces. Practical during chores or when your car breaks down.

 ## Charging the Fenix E18R V2.0
The E18R works with two battery-sources: the recommended rechargeable 16340-battery (included) or a CR123 as back-up or for temperatures below 0 degrees. 
The included Fenix ARB-L16-700P 16340 Li-ion battery has a capacity of 700mAh and provides a high, constant power. The lamp is rechargeable with the included USB-c charging cable.

* High (350 lumens, 1 hour and 20 min)
* Med (150 lumens, 2 hours and 30 min)

*The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.

The Fenix E18R V2.0 comes with one Fenix 16340 Li-ion battery of 700mAh, wrist cord, spare O-ring, key-chain ring and a USB-c charging cable.

Is precies wat we nodig hadden.
In de tas wordt het schakelaartje soms perongeluk ingeschakeld. Dat voorkomen we door het beugeltje ervoor te draaien

Klein maar krachtig.  De vergrendeling werkt niet perfect heb al wel eens gehad dat hij toch aanging in mijn broekzak.  Snel opgeladen via usb c. 

Perfect voor edc

Wederom een indrukwekkend lampje van Fenix! Klein maar indrukwekkende prestaties! Hoe het lampje zich de komende jaren zal houden is nog de vraag natuurlijk, maar wat kwaliteit betreft, is de eerste indruk: Prima! Waarom geen vijf sterren in iedere categorie? Ik heb het lampje gekocht als opvolger van mijn Fenix E15, Maar hoewel deze lamp op technisch gebied de e15 ruim overtreft, is in mijn beleving het gebruiksgemak een stuk minder. Natuurlijk speelt gewenning een rol.. Maar een punt waar dat niet zo is, is dat ik de zaklamp al verschillende keren brandend uit mijn broekzak heb gehaald. Ondanks dat deze goed vergrendeld was. (ik heb sleutels en dergelijke in mijn broekzak, maar ik denk toch dat dit eigenlijk niet zou moeten kunnen) Ik verschuif daarom de clip die aan de lamp zit over het aan/uit knopje als extra beveiliging. Dit werkt prima maar is natuurlijk niet zoals het zou moeten in mijn ogen, en zorgt er ook voor dat de lamp niet meteen "gebruiksklaar" is bij een greep in je broekzak. Het is een goede lamp maar ik had graag het dubbele betaald voor een nieuwe Fenix E15

I haven't used it much yet during summer, so just an overall thoughts here. Light-weight and compact, great for an EDC pouch. Love the magnetic attachment option. Quite powerful for its size. USB recharging is a handy feature also. Got this one after being positively impressed by Fenix E03R V2.0 and both seem to be of great quality. E03R goes on a key ring in the pocket, the E18R in the bag.
