The **Fenix E35R EDC flashlight** has improved performance compared to its predecessor the E35 V3.0. The light has 100 lumens more, making a total of 3100 lumens and a beam range of as much as 260 metres. The light has a bright and broad beam. Great when hiking, on the campsite or, of course, at home. It is nicely compact and light-weight, so you can easily take it with you. It works with one rechargeable 21700 Li-ion 5000 mAh battery. The battery is included. You can charge the battery with the included USB-C charging cable. Including the battery, this flashlight weighs 150 g.

The body is made from high-quality aluminium with a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant HAIII anodised coating. There is a built-in magnet in the back of the torch. Ideal to attach the light to something so your hands are free. Even when there's no metal nearby, you an easily carry it in your pocket with the pocket clip. 

## Light modes for the Fenix E35R

  * Turbo: 3100 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes*
  * High: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 3 hours and 40 minutes*
  * Mid: 250 lumens, burn time of approx. 9 hours and 20 minutes
  * Low: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 21 hours and 20 minutes
  * Eco: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 69 hours
  * Strobe: 3100 lumens *The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## How to use the Fenix E35R

You can use the metal button to easily switch between the 6 modes. The battery indicator shows you when it's time to charge it. If the light is turned off, click the button once to check the battery status. The light on the button will give you the status:

  * Green light: 100 - 85% 
  * Green light flashing: 85 - 50%
  * Red light: 50 - 25%
  * Red light flashing: 25 - 1% Planning to take the light with you on the road? Lock it by clicking the button twice. As such, it will never accidentally turn on in your pocket or bag.

## Prevent a too deeply discharged battery

Are you not using your flashlight for a while? Always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a little bit. This prevents your battery from becoming too deeply discharged. In fact, even when the light is off, it still draws some power from the battery. A battery that is too deeply discharged often cannot be recharged. That would be a shame!

Super blij mee. Handzaam en een bak licht.

Heel veel licht uit compacte behuizing.
Schakelaar laat zich veel makkelijker bedienen dan de Nitecore EDC35 welke ik om die reden ook geretourneerd heb.

Ik mis de tactische schakelaar.
Probeer deze zaklamp in je donkere tent/camper maar eens aan te zetten, dan is het echt zoeken.

Jammer dat Fenix niet meer de focuseerbare lens gebruikt zoals in mijn favoriet de FD40. 
Ben benieuwd wat dat doet icm 3000 of 5000 lumen

De bediening is even wennen. 
Prima zaklamp voor als je met groepen een nachttocht gaat doen. 
De verschillende standen bieden voldoende diversiteit voor zowel kaart lezen als route bepalen en afslagen onderscheiden. 
Deze lamp is een aanrader als je meer wil dan alleen een lamp met een aan en uit knop. 
De sterke magneet is een praktische aanwinst voor klussen in slecht verlichte ruimtes. 

Mooie zaklamp voor een zeer goede prijs. In turbo komt er een enorme hoeveelheid licht uit. De magneet op de achterkant is altijd handig. Persoonlijk vind ik em net even te groot voor een EDC. Voor de rest super.

Er hangt weliswaar een prijskaartje aan maar als je de kwaliteit met eender welke zaklamp vergelijkt dan kan er geen enkele aan deze tippen. Gaat zeer lang mee. Geeft enorm veel licht. Ligt goed in de hand. Ik ben meer dan tevreden.
