The **Fenix TK16 V2.0 Tropical Green tactical flashlight** is the updated version of the well-known Fenix TK16, but now with a nice green colour to match your outfit. With a focused beam of 3100 lumens, this flashlight creates a huge light display, comparable to two car headlights! You can activate the strobe mode within half a second with the tactical button. Thanks to this feature, this flashlight is perfect for law enforcement, police and soldiers, but also for people interested in self-defence or for search ops. Its unique controls make this flashlight popular with a large audience.

The lamp head is enhanced with a crown of indestructible tungsten steel, intended to be used as a glass breaker or for self-protection, though it also protects the lens of the torch. The flashlight is protected against dust and is waterproof up to 2 metres (for 30 minutes). Moreover, it can handle falls with a drop height of 1.5 metres, and it can function at temperatures between -35 ℃ and 45 ℃. The Fenix TK16 V2.0 runs on one ARB-L21-5000U rechargeable Li-Ion battery (included). **You can easily charge the battery via the USB-C port. To recharge the battery, remove the battery from the torch**.

## Prevent a too deeply discharged battery

Are you not using your flashlight for a while? Always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a little bit. This prevents your battery from becoming too deeply discharged. Even when the light is off, it still draws some power from the battery. A battery that is too deeply discharged often cannot be recharged. That would be a shame!

Do you have a torch with built-in battery where you cannot remove the battery? Make sure to charge the light at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This also prevents the battery from discharging too deeply, and it is good for the lifespan of your battery!

## How to use the Fenix TK16 V2.0

Opering the Fenix TK16 V2.0 is easy with one hand. The instant stroboscope function is there for when every second counts. With this function you can quickly disorient a potential attacker. As such you have time to run or to close in on someone. As soon as you press the second switch the light will start with the stroboscope mode. Release the switch and the light will immediately be turned off.

The tactical switch of the Fenix Tk16 V.20 has a momentary-on function. Hold the switch down and the light will temporarily turn to the mode last used. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. You easily select the desired light mode via the second switch. Even when the light is turned on, and you press down this switch you immediately activate the stroboscope mode. To deactivate it you press the button again.

### Light modes on the Fenix TK16 V2.0

  * Turbo: 3100 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours and 40 minutes*
  * High: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours and 50 minutes
  * Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 8 hours and 20 minutes
  * Low: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 19 hours and 10 minutes
  * Eco: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 43 hours and 20 minutes
  * Strobe: 3100 lumens

*The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## Intelligent protection

If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. If the light uses the turbo mode for longer than 20 minutes the light will automatically lower the amount of lumens to decrease the temperature.

## Differences to the original Fenix TK16

  * The TK16 V2.0 has an SST70 LED which provides a wider and more powerful beam than the TK16's Cree XM-L2 U2 LED.
  * The TK16 V2.0 has an output of 3100 lumens, as opposed to the 1000 of its predecessor.
  * The flashlight now has a 21700 battery instead of the original 18650.
  * The TK16 V2.0 comes with the battery too, unlike the TK16, for which the battery is not included.
  * In addition, the TK16 V2.0 has five light modes, which is one more than the TK16.
  * The TK16 V2.0's crown is made from tungsten instead of the stainless steel of its predecessor.
  * Finally, the updated TK16 V2.0 is 10 grams lighter than the original torch.

Ik was opzoek naar gewoon een goede zaklamp en na de vele test gelezen en gezien te hebben en duidelijke uitleg op de site deze gekozen.
Echt geen moment spijt van gehad! Ja het is niet de allergoedkoopste maar het licht wat eruit komt is ongelooflijk! Eco stand is al meer dan genoeg licht voor zo maar als je hem op de turbo stand zet nou dan is het net daglicht!
