I did a lot of research into buying this axe, watched videos and read lots of reviews. I had an old wooden handled axe and about 90 rounds to split, plus other smaller stuff. I was considering a mechanical log splitter but even these require some size reduction from 1m wide first and cost a lot. So I got the X27 XXL. And it is absolutely awesome. Splits radially, then into smaller pieces across the splits so easily. Totally impressed and getting great exercise too. I can split enough wood for 4 days in less than an hour with this and because it's not too heavy, I'm not tired at all. I already have an A10 Fiskars chopping axe which is also awesome. As in one video I watched, a professional said the X27 XXL is his choice as Fiskars axes are robust and they just work! Ditto.
