The **Gerber Crucial** is a compact and modern multi tool enhanced with all the basic tools. Its size makes it the perfect tool to take with you, but also makes it practical enough to use. Not too big and not too small. Practical when you are out on the road, for in your backpack or for everyday use. Gerber’s aim was to make a decent tool enhanced with the most basic functions. They were more than successful!


The Gerber Crucial comes with pliers, a wire cutter, bottle opener, medium flat blade screwdriver, Philips-head screwdriver, a knife that can be opened with one hand and a cutting hook. The amazing thing about this tool is that you access every tool from the outside. As such you won’t need to open the pliers to reach the other tools. All tools are locked by the liner-lock when opened. In addition, you can use the pocket-clip to easily attach the tool to your pocket.


**Needle nose pliers**
You open the pliers by using both hands. The beak has been enhanced with small serrations that will offer you additional grip. The spine of the beak has been rounded off to make sure you can easily reach narrow spaces and bend wires. The pliers has also been enhanced with a wire cutter you can use to cut small branches and stems. Long pliers always come in handy!


**Knife, one-handed opening**
The large drop point knife is made from stainless steel. The blade is razor-sharp and has a cutting surface of 6 cm. A section of the blade has serrations. The other half is smooth. Once opened the knife is immediately locked with a liner-lock. As a result the knife can never close when you don’t want it. In addition, it enables you to use it for the more demanding tasks. When opening and closing the blade you will hear a familiar click.

super dat alle functies gelockt kunnen worden.
let wel op dat deze een haak heeft, de zwarte heeft daar een snijhaak.
deze is wel veel duurder.
persoonlijk vind ik het geen reële meerprijs daar deze de haak er voor inleverd 

Das Tool ist gut, lediglich die Lackierung könnte dauerhafter sein. 

Pour le prix, un excellent outil correspondant bien à la description avancée. Un seul bémol : pas de poinçon, pourtant souvent utile. Mais bon...
Je le mets à demeure dans ma boîte à gants, "prêt à au cas où !".
Satisfaction totale.

Meer om toch nog een compacte tang mee te hebben. Geen veer mechanisme in de tang valt tegen, zit zelfs in de dime...
Kleur slijt al van het aluminium na 1 of 2 keer in zak gestopt te hebben.
