The **Grailer 3** is a lightweight and characteristic EDC knife for all your daily tasks. Produced because there was a growing demand for a more compact version of our successful first Grail knife: the Grailer 1. Designed by Dutch knife maker Dirk de Wit. The Grailer 3 embodies the concept of the Grailer 1, but is a little smaller and more functional. Carry the Grailer 3 with you on a daily basis, or allow it to be the highlight of your showcase!

This edition of the Grailer 3 is enhanced with a Raffir Noble inlay. As such the Grailer 3 looks extra fancy. Raffir Noble is a special composite material made from synthetic resin that contains brass and copper. It contains depth and each inlay is unique.

## A blade made from CPM 20CV steel
The blade is made from CPM 20CV steel. This is one of the most popular types of steel today because it retains its sharpness for a really long time. It is also stainless and easy to sharpen. The characterizing clippoint-shaped blade with its round plunge line is common for Dirks handmade knives. Like many of his customs, the Grailer 3 is enhanced with a hollow grind blade, razor-sharp and thin behind the edge.

You open the blade with the thumb stud. Opening and closing the knife is easy because of the phosphor bronze washers. When opened the blade is locked by a solid framelock. A rock-solid lock that uses the hand of the user to make the lock even stronger. Typical for this Dirk design, is the large ‘collar’ around the pivot. It falls over the lockbar of the framelock. As such the lock cannot overstretch and will stay in great shape for years to come.

## Modular thumb studs and pocket clip
The pocket clip is milled from one piece of titanium and can be adjusted. As such the knife is great for both left and right-handed use. Do you prefer to carry the knife without the pocket clip? Replace the clip with the included screw. Within seconds you will end up with a knife that is adjusted to your preferences.

Make sure the knife is 42A legal according to German knife laws by removing the thumb studs. Great for German knife enthusiasts, but also for those who often travel to Germany for holidays.

## Lightweight and compact
The Grailer 3 only weighs 90 grams, 50 grams less than the Grailer 1. The blade is 7.5 cm and very modest in that sense. A sweet spot for many knife enthusiasts. Once in your pocket you hardly notice you are keeping the Grailer 3 close. It is the result of its weight in combination with a closed length of only 10 cm.

tres belle réalisation, design de Dirk de Wit un  peu difficile au début puis cela à mûri et maintenant je trouve le couteau très original bravo au coutelier et merci à Knives and tools pour la réalisation, je dis au récalcitrant attention dépêchez vous !!!!

I call it the Eurasian Sebenza.  Excellent design and execution.  Beautifully tapered edge, edc scalpel.  Pleasant ergonomics even in large hands, witty pocket clip.  Bravo.

Das Grailer 3 hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt!
Top verarbeitet, perfekter Klingenstand und mit dem Inlay sieht das richtig gut aus. 

Ik heb ook de Grailer 1 versie met ook raffir noble. Wat vooral opvalt. is dat dit een stuk slanker mes is. Er zijn ook wat typische verschillen me de Grailer 1 zoals dat de naam van Dirk is verdwenen en dat het staal niet meer Bohler M£() is (wat behoorlijk afweek van de titanium heft)Wat ik wel vreemd vind bij de 3 is dat ze de stoppin in blamk staal hebben  gelaten.
Verder zit er standard tools bij om de klip weg te laten en te vervangen door de bout met kleine plaatje of om de clip op de voorkant te plaatsen voor linkshandigen. Je bedenk dan wel de raffir noble inlay. Oh, de inlay is net even anders dan bij de 1, lijkt wel maar toch anders.
Oh, foutje in de beschrijving raffir noble is niet messing- met kopergaas maar messing- met bronssgaas. Overigens zie je de raffir noble het beste door het van de zijkant met een kleinzaklampje te beschijnen.
