The **KA-BAR Becker Folder BK40** is KA-BAR's first Becker pocket knife. This pocket knife was inspired by the KA-BAR Becker Companion BK2, especially in terms of shape and material. One of the heaviest, most brutal and indestructible knives on our website. This pocket knife is a lightweight and foldable version. A knife you can rely on.

## KA-BAR Becker Folder BK40 blade

The blade is made from AUS8 steel. A stainless steel that is user-friendly and also easy to sharpen at home. The droppoint blade has a sizeable 'belly', just like the BK2. This blade shape lends itself perfectly to making long cutting motions.

## KA-BAR Becker Folder BK40 handle

The handle is made from FRN (Fibreglass Reinforced Nylon), which is also known as GRN or Grivory. FRN is a fibreglass-reinforced plastic. As a result, it can take a beating, is waterproof and very durable. Perfect for a knife that you'll use every day! Thanks to the indentation for your index finger and the 'jimping' (notches on top of your knife) for the thumb, you have a great grip and great control over your knife. You can easily move the pocket clip to the location of your choice. Left, right, tip-up or tip-down. In addition, a wide slot in the handle provides ample space for a lanyard. 

## Becker Knife & Tool

The great thing about Ethan Becker is his design philosophy: 'Becker Knives work for a living. And if they happen to look good, that's ok too.' It perfectly describes his utilitarian view of the knives he designs and produces. A great example is the KA-BAR Becker BK2. A large outdoor knife, made to withstand anything. But his outlook of the past is also interesting. He put a lot of effort into getting an original Kephart knife. Eventually this led to the KA-BAR Becker BK62 Kephart. A model that closely resembles the one produced over a hundred years ago.

Beau couteau, enfin un profil de manche rond et tres confortable. le top, excellente prise en main, cependant la qualite de l’acier est moyen.Je ne menage pas l’utilisation de ce couteau, et des micro morceaux du tranchant  de la lame se sont detacheés, ce qui m’oblige a reprendre l’affutage, ..malgre cela 

Wie nicht anders zu erwarten, ist das ein sehr schönes Messer von KABAR. Langzeit Erfahrung steht noch aus.
