The famous knife maker Ken Onion has clearly put his signature on the design of the Kershaw Blur. The ruffled blade with the assisted opening and the thumb rest to open fast and easy with one hand. This goes for both left- and right handed users. The blade has been made black with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, which gives it a tactical look. The handle of aircraft aluminum is inlaid with Trac-Tec grip-tape. This provides a very good grip, even in wet conditions. It also strengthens the tactical appearance. The knife is suitable for everyday use, thanks to the modest dimensions. This knife is intended for lots of intensive use.  
   


The blade is blocked using the Inset Liner Lock. A construction by Kershaw in which the knife is not equipped with continuous liners along the entire length of the knife. Only a small liner to fasten the liner lock, is mounted. The pocket clip can be mounted in 2 ways: tip-up and tip-down.

Messer ist optisch sehr schön. Die Klinge springt beim Aufklappen auch schön auf und arretiert sehr gut.
Das Problem ist jedoch, dass sich der linerlock nach dem Aufklappen der Klinge nicht mehr mit einem Daumen entriegeln lässt… auch nicht mit großem Kraftaufwand. Erst nach Drücken mit den Zeigefingern entriegelt es mit einem deutlich hörbaren Knacks.
Bei einem Preis über €130,- ist das sehr enttäuschend und macht das Messer zumindest für meinem Gebrauch unbrauchbar…

Een mes voor alle dag. Zit door de clip ongemerkt in de broekzak. Stevig en scherp. Opvallend hoe vaak per dag je het mes gebruikt.

Een prima stevig mes wat goed in de hand ligt. Lekker scherp en een goed werkende lock. De assisted opening maakt het openen heel simpel Ik heb de clip er afgehaald, deze prikte in mijn been als het mes in mijn broekzak zat. Ten op zicht van mijn verwachting is het mes breder en dus groter in mijn broekzak maar dat went wel.
