This knife is well made for the money. I do love the traditional style of the knife. It has a very fine blade which makes it extremely sharp and excellent for slicing however it has showed signs of damage to the alignment of the sharp edge following my son using it to pare sticks. Happy with the knife overall.

Don't be put off by it being named "Children's Knife". It is an extremely handy knife to take with you when you plan to prepare food away from home. It is sharp and cuts well and a round tip is convenient for preparing sandwiches.

A great rounded knife for my 10 year old son who wants to start whittling wood. Very safe as far as knives for kids go! It folds away and doesn't have a sharp point. also there is a handy locking mechanism. the blade itself is sharp so would not advise leaving a child unattended when using it. A quality peice of French craftsmanship
