The Opinel Pocket knife with wooden handle. Originally created by Joseph Opinel in 1890 for use by farmers. The Opinel Pocket knife is a famous, yet very cheap pocket knife for everyday use. You can get very small versions or fairly large ones. The series 'My First Opinel' is especially intended for children. The rounded tip minimizes the risk to injuries. Of course the blade is normally ground, to make it fit for real use. The My First Opinel-series is available in several cheerful colours.  
  


This pocket knife is equipped with the simple but effective Virobloc-lock system. The blade is locked by the ring that can be pivoted around the hinge point. A classic in true sense of the word.

Bought for gift but opinel knives are excellent value and shockingly sharp, even this round nosed one aimed at kids.  Green is the least opaque colour in the range I think.

Prima als eerste zakmes voor mijn zoon, niet te duur dus geen ramp als hij het kwijt mocht raken. 
De stompe punt vond ik een groot voordeel, dat is toch net wat veiliger. 
Ik heb het lemmet laten graveren met zijn naam.

Mooi kindermes zonder scherpe punt, maar scherp aan het lemmet waardoor je goed dingen kan snijden zoals takken en touw.

Joli Opine,l très adapté aux jeunes personnes qui limite le risque avec le bout arrondi. Colori vert pomme sympa. Beau et simple cadeau.
