The **Robert Herder straight classic peeling knife** follows in the footsteps of Robert Herder's famous mill knives. This peeling knife is ideal for peeling fruit and vegetables. It can also be used for various other small cutting jobs. The carbon steel blade is sharpened by hand according to the traditional German "Solinger Dünnschliff" principle. The result is a razor-sharp knife. The carbon steel used for the blade is not stainless, so it needs to be treated with care. This means it must be cleaned and dried by hand after use. The handle is made from red beech wood, seamlessly attached to the blade with three rivets.

Goed in de hand, gemakkelijk scherp te houden.

Prachtig carbonstalen molenmes van Robert Herder.
Ik ben al jaren fan van deze messen. Direct afwassen en goed droog maken na gebruik, dan heb je geen last van corrosie, 
Superdun en scherp. Fraai hout. 
Snijdt geweldig!

Ik kende het merk al, ik had meerdere kleinere schilmessen van Robert Herder. Wat dit, wat grotere, mes betreft: absoluut perfect. Vlijmscherp, snijd probleemloos met slechts een lichte druk ook door tomaten. Plus: bij Knivesandtools een zeer goede prijs.

I have to say, it might not look special but it out performs knives at more than twice the price,  sharp as a razor with a blade that holds an edge.  It just the job, day after day with out fuss.
