Excellent value for money! It is worth investing money on those stones rather than having 100 water stones that go off faster and do a slower job. It all depends on the purpose of course. After years of sharpening I have more than happy with those and on top of that, that is a great set for the price paid. highly recommended!

It's still early days yet, but I can conform these stone remove material very quickly. I flattened with a Trend Diamond stone, but it left scratches, so invested in the Shapton Diamond stone

A heck of a lot cheaper than rip off Amazon et al. Will be buying all my sharpening requirements from here. Just wish the Shapton flattening plate was a bit cheaper. However, if you want the best.....buy once cry once.

These are top quality sharpening stones, and this set is very good value for money compared to buying stones individually. The three grades here are about bang on for preparing & sharpening chisels, though ideally I'd have liked a combination of 500 grit, 4000 grit & 16000 grit, but maybe that's because I already have a 100 grit diamond stone!
