The **Spyderco Ambitious Lightweight Black C148PBBK** is an ambitious little pocket knife. Small but powerful. It's easy to carry, and thanks to the rounded edge, it's more convenient to use than you might think! The Ambitious Lightweight is made from lightweight materials and has 'skeletonized' steel liners. This means that the knife is sturdy, yet light in weight. You can open the knife with the thumb-hole, and a liner lock keeps the blade securely in place.

You can wear the pocket clip in four different ways. 

## Spyderco Ambitious Lightweight blade

The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. This is a type of stainless steel that, should it lose some of its sharpness, will be easy to sharpen again.

## Spyderco Ambitious Lightweight handle

The Ambitious Lightweight handle is made from Fibreglass Reinforced Nylon (FRN). FRN is a fibreglass-reinforced plastic. This material can really take a beating, which makes it perfect for a knife that gets used on a daily basis. The handle features Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texturing Pattern. Cool name, but it simply means that the handle offers great grip in either direction.
