The **Spyderco Para 3 Light-weight C223PBBK** is the light-weight version of the incredibly popular Spyderco Para 3. As the name might already suggest it weighs next to nothing: only 70 grams. As a result it is one of the lighter EDC pocket knives on the market. Especially when you look at its size.

 Fortunately this doesn't mean that it is less solid than the G10-version. The FRN handle is often used on Spyderco knives and we know that it can handle quite a lot. This FRN handle, however, is different. The grip pattern, for instance, is slightly more shallow. As a result the handle is only 11 cm thick and barely noticeable in your pocket.

 You open the Spyderco Para 3 Light-Weight with the thumb hole, as you have grown accustomed to with Spyderco. One of the easiest ways of opening a knife if you ask us. When opened Spyderco's own Compression Lock locks the blade. This is a rock-solid lock you control on the spine of the handle.

 The blade itself is made from CTS-BD1N steel. Quite the mouth full. In short it means that it is a stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. It is quite strong and retains its sharpness well. Simply a great type of steel for EDC-use because it is very balanced. This version of the Para 3 Light-weight is enhanced with a black blade, screws and a pocket clip.

 The Spyderco Para 3 light-weight is one of the most accessible and fine EDC-knives in the light-weight range. A pocket knife that will fit in any collection and with every user.

Navaja muy ligera y bolsillera, acción suave y muy afilada de fabrica. Ideal para uso diario. Muy buenos acabados. En varios sitios de internet veo que critican los modelos Spyderco lightweight, no lo entiendo, a mi me va genial y no llevas un ladrillo en el bolsillo. A must have.

Voilà un EDC qui est parfait sa taille son poids permettent de l'emporter partout il tient même dans une poche de poitrine de chemisette. L'acier BD1N est idéal pour un usage quotidien normal découpe de ficelle  corde plastique souple carton sangle.c'est mon deuxième SPYDERCO je possède un ENDURA acheté en 1996 il ne m'a jamais fait défaut et je pense que le para 3 LW fera de même. De très bons couteaux. K&T toujours au top .Bravo
