Features of the Böker Saga Grenadill kitchen knives

Böker Saga Grenadill blade

The blade is made from stainless 440C steel, which is a classic, stainless type of steel from Germany that has been used in the knife world for many years. In addition, you can easily sharpen it yourself if the knife starts to lose some of its sharpness over time. The blade is enhanced with a stonewashed finish. This is a matt-looking finish that makes scratches and imperfections on your Grenadill knives less noticeable. It also looks really cool. The razor-sharp blade has a flat grind. The blade runs throughout the entire handle. This ensures that the knives are perfectly balanced, making them amazing to use.

Böker Saga Grenadill handle

The Grenadill line of the Saga series has handles made of Grenadille wood. This is a tropical type of wood from a tree that grows very slowly. As such, the structure of the wood is very dense. Very durable and fancy. In short: a dark, hard and stunning type of wood. The holes in the handle are typical for a Jesper Voxnaes design.

Maintaining your Böker Saga Grenadill knives

If you properly maintain your new knives you can enjoy them for years! Like most kitchen knives, the knives from the Böker Saga Grenadill series are not dishwasher safe. If you put them in the dishwasher you will notice soon enough that the wood will be affected. It is best to wash and dry them by hand immediately after use. Keep the wood in optimal condition by regularly applying a coat of mineral oil to the handle.
