The **ANV Z400 BB Z400-016 DLC Sleipner, Coyote G10** is an elegant EDC pocket knife, made in the Czech Republic by Acta Non Verba Knives. The Z400 is a modern dagger knife. However, this knife only has one cutting edge! Which means it is legal to own in many countries. The Swiss Super-LumiNova inlay in the guards is a nice detail. This material lights up in the dark and is often used for the dials of top-quality watches. The blade is locked by a strong linerlock. You carry the Z400 in your pocket with the deep-carry wire pocket clip. It is located at the end of the handle and is kept in place with the help of the stand-off. You can switch the clip for left-handed use.




The ANV Z400 BB Z400-016 DLC Sleipner, Coyote G10, pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour light-brown. With its blade length of 10 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 13 cm in length and it weighs 110 g.



Opening the ANV Z400 BB Z400-016 DLC Sleipner, Coyote G10, pocket knife is incredibly fast thanks to the flipper, which allows for single-handed operation. The pocket knife is equipped with ball bearrings making opening and closing nice and smooth. Once opened, the liner lock ensures that the knife is locked and will not accidentally snap shut.



## Sleipner-steel blade
The blade has a length of 10 cm and is made of Sleipner steel, a robust steel type with a nicely balanced composition of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. As a result, this steel offers excellent sharpness retention as well as toughness, ensuring it won't chip as quickly as some other steel types. This makes Sleipner steel perfect for heavy-duty use.

Moreover, this steel is fairly corrosion resistant thanks to the 8% chromium content, but it's not entirely stainless. Please make sure to clean the knife after use, dry it well and to treat it with oil or wax, especially in moist environments. With a simple [sharpening stone](/en/pt/-skerper-pocket-stone-diamondceramic-sharpening-stone-so003.htm), you can easily sharpen the blade back to razor-sharpness – even on the go!



The blade is finished with a DLC coating, which stands for ‘Diamond Like Carbon’. It's a very hard coating that is even harder than the steel. This makes DLC very scratch-resistant, and this coating protects the blade against corrosion. DLC is very hard, but it is also only a thin layer: eventually, you will always see signs of use.



## G10 handle

The ANV Z400 BB Z400-016 DLC Sleipner, Coyote G10, pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 13 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.
