The Bark River Gunny is a compact version of the Bravo 1. Originally this knife was designed for (para)military use. Soon, however, it became evident that this knife was capable of a whole lot more. Today the Gunny is a popular knife amongst bushcraft enthusiasts and hunters. It is solidly constructed with enough blade thickness for the more demanding tasks. At the same time it is light enough for hikes. A perfect knife that can be used for many purposes.

Expectations
Knife is excellent, did not come with the sheath shown in photos, came with the standard Bark River pattern sheath which spoils the overal knife presentation. I would buy more Bark River Knives if they supplied better sheaths as there standard pattern does not compliment the quality of the knives
