The **Bestech Ivy BT2004** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Ostap Hel. Striking is its low weight: it only weighs 70 grams! Quite impressive for a knife with a 7.8 cm long blade. The shape of the blade is also impressive: like the claw of a bird of prey the tip of the blade is slightly facing down. As such opening boxes will be a piece of cake. Also great when peeling fruit: it looks a lot like a turning knife.



You quickly open the blade with the front flipper. An opening mechanism Ostap Hel favours. When opened the blade is blocked by a solid framelock with hardened steel insert. It guarantees a long life. The great thing about the construction of the handle is that there are only two screws that keep the entire handle together. For an extra clean look Ostap Hel made sure the screw for the pocket clip also functions as the frame screw.



The blade is made from CPM S35VN-steel. An American type of powder steel that retains its sharpness well, but is also easy to sharpen. The handle is made from titanium.
