The **Buck Onset 040GRS** is a modern EDC pocket knife. With the Buck Onset, Buck once again demonstrates that their production quality is exceptional. It's a tough-looking yet sleek pocket knife, made in the US. You can easily keep the Buck Onset close with the removable pocket clip.




The Buck Onset 040GRS, O.D. Green G10, pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour green, black. With its blade length of 9,5 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12,5 cm in length and it weighs 140 g.



Opening the Buck Onset 040GRS, O.D. Green G10, pocket knife is quick and easy thanks to the flipper, which you can do one-handed of course. The pocket knife is equipped with ball bearings to make the action of the blade super smooth. Once opened, the frame lock ensures that the knife is locked and won't unintentionally close.



## Blade made of CPM S45VN steel
The blade of this Buck Onset is made of CPM S45VN steel. This is a premium type of stainless steel made by Crucible Industries in the US. S45VN retains its sharpness well, is pretty tough and very corrosion resistant. CPM S45VN  was developed as a successor to CPM S35VN. S45VN retains its sharpness even better than S35VN, and is even more resistant to corrosion too.



This blade is finished with a Cerakote coating. This is a popular coating also used for engine parts, for example. It is a very ‘tough’ coating. It has good impact resistance. Traces of use are therefore less likely to show up. However, it is also only a thin layer: eventually, you will always see signs of use.



## G10 handle

The Buck Onset 040GRS, O.D. Green G10, pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 12,5 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.
