The **Case The Marilla** is a modern EDC knife. Something completely new from the folks at Case Knives, who are mainly known for their Classic gentleman's knives. The interchangeable pocket clip allows you to easily carry the Case The Marilla with you.




The Case The Marilla, Black Marbled Carbon Fiber, S35VN, 25893 pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 9 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12 cm in length and it weighs 100 g.



Opening the Case The Marilla, Black Marbled Carbon Fiber, S35VN, 25893 pocket knife is quick and easy thanks to the flipper, which you can do one-handed of course. The pocket knife is equipped with ball bearings to make the action of the blade super smooth. Once opened, the frame lock ensures that the knife is locked and won't unintentionally close.



## Blade Made of CPM S35VN Steel
The blade of this Case Knives Marilla is made from CPM S35VN steel. This is a premium stainless steel produced by Crucible Industries in the United States. S35VN retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and offers good corrosion resistance. CPM S35VN was developed as a successor to CPM S30V, in collaboration with world-renowned knife maker Chris Reeve.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



## Carbon-fibre handle

The handle of this Case The Marilla, Black Marbled Carbon Fiber, S35VN, 25893 pocket knife is made of carbon fibre, and measures 12 cm in length. Carbon fibre is an incredibly strong material. For the handles of pocket knives, carbon fibre sheet material is used. The carbon fibres, often first woven, are pressed into a strong resin under high pressure. The result is a super strong, lightweight material.
