The **Civivi Mini Asticus C19026B** is a cool EDC pocket knife. It's a mini version of the Asticus. Although mini, with a blade length of 8 cm, it still isn't a super small knife. Because of its slim proportions, you hardly feel it in your pocket. Until you need it, of course! The blade has a beautiful hollow grind. Its thin grind makes it a pleasure to use.

You quickly open this knife with the flipper. What's remarkable here is that Civivi has added ceramic ball bearings, a feature you usually only see on knives in a much higher price range. When opened, the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. This keeps your fingers safe while you use the knife.

## G10 handle

The handle is comprised of steel liners with G10 scales. G10 is a strong, lightweight material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The light texture feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip.

## Damascus steel blade

The blade is made from Damascus steel. This is a type of steel comprised of two different steels that have been forged and folded together. Folding it in different ways creates a truly stunning pattern. Originally Damascus steel was forged to improve the quality of the steel. Nowadays, it is done simply to look cool.

Ce Civivi mini asticus ne déçoit pas quand à sa réputation d’action fluide, une des meilleure que j’ai vu chez Civivi. Il s’ouvre est se referme avec une acoustique très satisfaisante. L’émouture creuse en fait un excellent slicer, très bon pour le travail de précision, concurrence directement l’opinel, ce qui est rare, même si le dos est relativement plus épais et rentre donc un peu moins bien dans les matériaux rigides (1.8mm vs 3mm)
Ensuite, que dire du damas de Civivi, apparemment un des meilleurs sur le marché ? Ça ne tient absolument pas le tranchant, légèrement en dessous du 9cr18 je dirais, sans doute un peu moins dur, mais c’est joli, pour sûr.

Beau couteau, design simple mais agréable, très jolie lame qui coupe très bien, pour le prix c'est parfait
