With this Shapton Pro Stone grain 2000 you can sharpen quickly and evenly. This ceramic Japanese sharpening stone has a grain size of 2000. A medium sharpening stone that will polish your knife and leave a nice finish. This sharpening stone is also a nice intermediate step from a lower grain size to a real polishing stone like the 5000 grain. The sharpening stone is suitable for almost all types of knives. From outdoor knives to kitchen knives, from pocket knives to chisels.

The product fully meets my expectations. The product is useful to make second step of sharpening. It helps make blade more smooth (after grit 1000 stone) and prepares blade for further steps of sharpening. Product is package is perfect. Protective case can be used as base to lift stone while sharpening the blade. Cases can be easily stacked. Highly recommended.
