Thiers is the knife capital of France. It is not a coincidence that you will also find Claude Dozorme's workshop in Thiers. As such it is not surprising at all that they also produce a version of the famous Thiers pattern. These steak knives with their straight spine and subtle belly are very Thiers.


## The Handle


This set of table knives is comprised of six steak knives with a polished plastic handle made from black Nacrine (methyl acrylate). A solid plastic that ensures that's the steak knives are, technically speaking, dishwasher proof. We, however, do not recommend cleaning them in the dishwasher as it could affect the material in the long run.


## The blade


The blade is made from polished X50CrMoV15 steel. This popular type of steel is not prone to rust and easy to sharpen. To make sure the set stays complete it comes in a wooden box.


This steak knife set is the embodiment of French manual labour. The experts at Claude Dozorme produced this product with a lot of passion. You can clearly see the hand of the master when you look at the finish. Small imperfections are a part of this and give this product its authentic French charm.
