The  **Helle Gro 200007** is a compact outdoor knife. Suited for various outdoor tasks such as food prep and gathering wood for the fire.




The handle is made from stunning birch wood. The handle comfortably fills the palm of your hand. A *finger guard* makes sure your fingers are safe during use. The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. The steel retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. It is also corrosion resistant.




## Helle Spire 200006 VS Helle Gro 200007


The Helle Spire (to sprout in Norwegian) is a smaller version of the Helle Gro (to grow in Norwegian). Both knives are made from the same materials. Only the size is different. The Helle Gro is no less than 50% bigger than the Helle Spire. As such the Gro is better suited for heavy-duty use or those who have large hands. The Helle Spire, however, is better at the more precise tasks such was wood work.


## Maintaining Helle knives


Both the handle and the blade need to be dried with a soft towel if they get wet. We also recommended occasionally adding wax or oil.


The sheath should occasionally be impregnated with a colourless agent (grease or wax) to make sure it stays flexible. Dry the sheath carefully at room temperature if it gets wet.


All Helle knives are made and finished by hand. As such each knife is a unique masterpiece because every pattern is different.
