The **Klean Kanteen Classic Narrow Sports Cap** is the perfect drinking bottle to take with you during hikes, while exercising or simply for daily use. It comes with a Sports Cap made from soft silicone. It is dishwasher safe, can be opened with one hand and comes with a practical loop so you can attach the bottle to your bag. This Narrow version is a bit narrower than the standard Klean Kanteen Classic, so it fits more easily in the side pocket of your bag or in the cup holder of your car. Even though it can still hold more than 500 ml!

## Stainless steel

The bottle is made from 18/8 stainless steel. This means 18% chrome and 8% nickel. Stainless steel is durable, safe and doesn't leave any particles behind, so you won't be bothered by any aftertastes. The bottle is also completely BPA free. You can fill the bottle with a different beverage time and time again without the flavours lingering. The outside is finished with a Klean Coat™ powder coating. It is durable, impact-resistant and environmentally friendly. 

## About the sports cap

The bottle comes with a sports cap. Usually when you drink from a sports cap, the bottle will form a vacuum. This isn't possible with a stainless steel drinking bottle because you can't squeeze the bottle. For that reason, the cap has been enhanced with a valve. This valve ensures that air can enter the bottle so it's easy to drink from. Even though the sports cap 3.0 is better in comparison to the previous cap, this cap isn't 100% guaranteed to be leakproof. This is because of the valve. If you want 100% certainty that your cap is leak-free, then get the [Loop Cap](kato://product/KC1000622) as an extra accessory. This is a flatter version so that the bottle takes up even less room. 

## Cleaning Klean Kanteen bottles

You can easily clean these thermos and drinking bottles by hand. The opening of Klean Kanteen water bottles is large enough for a dishwashing brush to fit in. Furthermore, the insides are smooth and rounded. This means bacteria won’t be able to accumulate. The stainless steel bottles without coloured coating are dishwasher safe, as are most of the caps.
